June 2025 highlights for sonic-buildimage: A focused bug fix delivering remote kdump crash report transfer reliability. Implemented network setup scripts to automatically bring up and configure network interfaces for SSH transfers, addressing network-unreachable errors during remote crash report transfers. This work is captured in commit b5b33c1b3555fc4b4447af129fc00a884f97e0b7 (Network_Setup for Kdump Remote Mode) and references issue #19464. Impact: improves reliability of remote crash data collection, reduces need for manual intervention in post-crash workflows, and accelerates triage and diagnosis. March 2025 monthly summary for sonic-net/sonic-utilities: Delivered a remote SSH-based kdump crash reporting feature, enabling kernel crash dumps to be transferred to a remote SSH server with configurable SSH details and controls.
