Worked on the jenkinsci/stapler repository to migrate the BookStore class to newer Stapler API interfaces, focusing on long-term maintainability and compatibility. The primary engineering effort involved updating the BookStore implementation to use StaplerRequest2 and StaplerResponse2, ensuring the codebase aligns with the latest API standards. This migration included revising the doHello method signature to reflect interface changes, reducing technical debt and preparing the project for future Stapler updates. The work was completed using Java and centered on API migration and Java development skills, with no major bugs addressed during the period, emphasizing proactive codebase modernization over reactive maintenance.
