During October 2024, Ahpx focused on front-end development and UI/UX for the CherryHQ/cherry-studio repository, delivering an adaptive theming feature that enables the application to automatically detect and follow the user’s system color preferences. By implementing this feature in TypeScript, Ahpx removed the need for manual theme configuration, streamlining the user experience and improving accessibility across platforms. The technical approach centered on integrating system-level theme detection directly into the UI logic, ensuring consistent appearance and reducing user friction. While the work was limited in scope to a single feature, it demonstrated clear, focused engineering and thoughtful attention to user-centric design.
