During October 2024, Ahpx focused on front-end development and UI/UX for the CherryHQ/cherry-studio repository, delivering an adaptive theming feature using TypeScript. They implemented a system that automatically detects and applies the user’s OS color preferences, removing the need for manual theme selection and enhancing accessibility. The technical approach centered on integrating system-level theme detection into the application’s default behavior, ensuring consistent user experience across platforms. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated clear scope and maintainable code structure. The feature improved usability and aligned the interface with modern accessibility and user preference standards.
