Worked on the google-gemini/gemini-cli repository to deliver a feature enabling policy update persistence and message bus publishing. Focused on ensuring that policy updates are reliably maintained across session transitions, the implementation introduced session persistence and adjusted approval mode handling to reduce inconsistencies during updates. Leveraging TypeScript and full stack development skills, the work established an end-to-end publish flow so that policy changes are immediately available to downstream systems via the message bus. This approach improved traceability and allowed for real-time reactions to policy changes, with thorough testing to ensure updates are consistently published and data integrity is maintained.
