Worked on the n8n-io/n8n repository to address reliability issues in Kubernetes ZIP file handling, focusing on backend development and file streaming using TypeScript. The primary contribution involved fixing a bug that caused ZIP import failures by resolving self-inclusion errors and correcting local header size placeholders. The solution also enhanced decompression logic to support ZIP64 archives, enabling the system to handle larger ZIP uploads within Kubernetes environments. This work improved the stability of import processes, reduced operational risk, and closed a long-standing reliability gap, aligning the implementation with related issue tracking and ensuring smoother deployments for Kubernetes users.
