Aidan developed and delivered the Communication Service hostname attribute for both the resource and data source in the hashicorp/terraform-provider-azurerm repository. Using Go and Terraform provider development skills, Aidan implemented computed hostname exposure to enhance observability and configuration for Communication Service deployments. The work involved updating Go code to support hostname computation and integration within both the resource and data source, as well as revising provider documentation in Markdown to guide users on the new attribute. This feature improved telemetry readiness and reliability, addressing a specific need for better configuration visibility without introducing major bugs during the development period.
