Developed and delivered a new hostname attribute for the Communication Service resource and data source in the hashicorp/terraform-provider-azurerm repository, enhancing both observability and configuration capabilities for Terraform users. This work involved updating Go code to compute and expose the hostname, ensuring seamless integration with existing provider logic. The implementation also included comprehensive updates to provider documentation, detailing the new attribute’s usage and benefits for deployment telemetry. Focused on Go-based provider development and Terraform integration, the contribution improved reliability for Communication Service deployments. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a careful and methodical engineering approach.
