Worked on the hydralauncher/hydra repository to enhance reliability and compatibility in the download and API integration flow. Addressed a connectivity issue by enforcing IPv4 for Real-Debrid API requests on Windows, mitigating problems caused by IPv6. Improved the download service by optimizing imports to use node:https, which increased compatibility and performance. The work involved backend development using Node.js and TypeScript, with a focus on network programming and API integration. Delivered one new feature and resolved one bug within the month, demonstrating a methodical approach to refining core service flows and ensuring robust cross-platform network interactions in the project.
