During May 2025, Aim focused on enhancing the openshift/bpfman-operator repository by upgrading its go-openapi dependencies to the latest stable versions. This work centered on refining the project’s dependency management using Go Modules, with all changes consolidated in the go.mod and go.sum files. By aligning dependencies with current ecosystem standards, Aim reduced the risk of merge conflicts and improved the repository’s long-term maintainability. Although no major bugs were addressed, the effort strengthened vendor hygiene and established a clearer upgrade path for future development. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to stability and maintainability using Go and dependency management best practices.
