During June 2025, Airon Askul focused on enhancing the reliability of network monitoring in React Native applications by addressing a compatibility issue in the infinitered/reactotron repository. He fixed the XHRInterceptor loading path for React Native 0.80 and above, introducing fallback mechanisms to ensure Reactotron could consistently monitor network requests across evolving RN versions. This work, implemented in TypeScript and leveraging his skills in debugging and plugin development, reduced friction for developers upgrading React Native by maintaining visibility into network activity. Airon’s contribution demonstrated careful attention to code quality, with clear commit traceability and a targeted, stability-driven engineering approach.
