Worked on enhancing documentation for RuboCop’s caching mechanism in the rubocop/rubocop repository, focusing on clarifying cache invalidation scenarios and providing guidance for overriding RuboCop::Cop::Base#external_dependency_checksum when external dependencies change. The approach centered on improving the accuracy and clarity of adoc-based documentation, consolidating caching-related information to support both maintainers and new contributors. This effort aimed to streamline developer onboarding, reduce misconfigurations, and lower support overhead related to caching behavior. No bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary contribution was a targeted documentation feature leveraging skills in technical writing and documentation structuring using adoc syntax.
