Aishek enhanced the caching documentation for the rubocop/rubocop repository, focusing on clarifying cache invalidation scenarios and providing guidance on when to override the RuboCop::Cop::Base#external_dependency_checksum method in response to external dependency changes. Working primarily with AsciiDoc and leveraging strong documentation skills, Aishek consolidated and improved the accuracy of caching-related materials to support both maintainers and new contributors. This work aimed to reduce misconfigurations and support overhead by making caching behavior more transparent and maintainable. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the depth of the documentation update improved developer onboarding and long-term project maintainability.
