Worked on the vmware-clarity/ng-clarity repository to implement density-based UI styling for navigation and tabs, introducing a scalable approach to theming across the user interface. Refactored existing component styles by replacing hardcoded spacing and sizing with density tokens, which improved layout consistency and maintainability for different density modes. Focused on front-end development using SCSS and CSS, leveraging component styling techniques to enable easier theming and reduce CSS drift. The changes provided a foundation for more adaptable and maintainable UI design, supporting future scalability across components. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and refactoring.
