During April 2026, contributed to the carbon-design-system/carbon-labs repository by developing the Carbon Labs Component Contribution Scaffolding Tool, a CLI utility designed to automate setup and standardize scaffolding for new component contributions. Leveraging JavaScript, Node.js, and Git, implemented the labs-kit to streamline contributor onboarding and enhance the create utility with automated preparation scripts. Addressed repository reliability by fixing repo-root resolution and adding validation for generated package.json files to prevent misconfigurations. Updated documentation in Markdown to include a comprehensive contribution agent guide and clarified the Storybook development workflow, ultimately improving consistency, governance, and the overall developer experience for external contributors.
