During November 2024, contributed to the Automattic/gutenberg repository by delivering a Block Editor Zoom UX Enhancement focused on improving the zoom in and out behavior within the editor iframe. This work involved refining CSS animations and JavaScript logic to ensure content remained centered and visible during zoom transitions, minimizing layout shifts and enhancing visual continuity when navigating large documents. The approach emphasized front end development best practices, leveraging React and SCSS to improve editor responsiveness and user experience. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and optimizing the stability and performance of zoom operations.
