Worked on the temporalio/ui repository to enhance deployment reliability by addressing container user and group ID alignment for OpenShift compatibility. Updated the Dockerfile to change the default temporal user and group IDs from 5000 to 1000, ensuring smoother deployments and reducing permission-related conflicts across environments. This adjustment improved cross-environment consistency, minimizing runtime issues during onboarding and operations. The work focused on containerization and DevOps practices, leveraging Dockerfile expertise to align container IDs with OpenShift requirements. Over the month, delivered one targeted feature that addressed a specific deployment challenge, demonstrating a focused approach to infrastructure compatibility and operational reliability.
