During January 2026, Startexportsarlma developed a public API for the vaadin/web-components repository, enabling developers to disable the focus trap in vaadin-dialog through a new noFocusTrap property. This feature addressed accessibility and flexibility needs for complex user interfaces by updating the dialog’s base mixin and render path to conditionally apply the focus-trap attribute. Startexportsarlma implemented comprehensive automated tests in dialog.test.js to ensure the new API’s reliability and maintainability. The work was completed using JavaScript and TypeScript, with a focus on front end development and web components, demonstrating a methodical approach to feature delivery and test coverage.
