During December 2025, this developer enhanced SmartThings compatibility for Yanmi Switches within the SmartThingsEdgeDrivers repository. They focused on IoT development and device integration by adding new device fingerprints and updating the supporting cn.csv data file using YAML configuration. This work enabled SmartThings to recognize a broader range of Yanmi devices, streamlining the setup process and expanding device support.
