Akarsh Ellore Sreenath developed cluster-level backend Network Security Group (NSG) configuration for Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) within the oracle/terraform-provider-oci repository. Using Terraform and Go, Akarsh enabled centralized management of NSGs at the OKE cluster level, allowing security policies to be enforced consistently across Kubernetes workloads. This approach reduced the risk of misconfiguration and improved the overall security posture by consolidating network controls. The work focused on infrastructure as code principles, delivering an incremental feature that aligns with governance requirements. Over the month, Akarsh contributed a well-scoped feature with clear commit history, demonstrating depth in cloud infrastructure management.
