During July 2025, Aryakoste contributed to the Aryakoste/mattermost repository by updating Latvian translations for the Mattermost web application. Focusing on internationalization and localization, Aryakoste used JSON and the Weblate platform to translate 24 out of 6,450 interface strings, thereby improving accessibility for Latvian-speaking users. The work was delivered as a single, traceable commit, emphasizing reproducibility and scalability in the localization workflow. While no bugs were fixed during this period, Aryakoste’s efforts laid the groundwork for broader language support and more efficient translation processes, addressing the need for a scalable approach to internationalization in ongoing and future development cycles.
