In June 2025, Akf focused on stabilizing typography rendering for the 18F/handbook repository by addressing a font loading issue related to Content Security Policy. Akf implemented a targeted bug fix that updated the CSP to allow data URIs for font sources, ensuring fonts embedded via data URIs rendered correctly across devices and environments. This work, using HTML and front end development skills with attention to web security, preserved the intended typography and visual consistency of the Handbook. The solution aligned with security best practices while reducing font-related display issues, demonstrating a focused and effective approach to maintaining user experience.
