During a one-month period, contributed to the microsoft/garnet repository by introducing Lua scripting support through KeraLua integration. This work involved updating Dockerfile.ubuntu and Dockerfile.chiseled to bundle Lua libraries, ensuring consistent scripting capabilities across different containerized environments. The approach focused on enhancing extensibility and enabling script-driven customization, which streamlines onboarding for new scripting features. Leveraging skills in containerization, DevOps, and Docker, the developer laid the foundation for future script-based enhancements without addressing bug fixes during this period. The technical implementation centered on Dockerfile modifications and dependency management, providing a robust environment for Lua scripting within the microsoft/garnet project.
