Worked on the facebook/fbthrift repository to address technical debt related to the Thrift Reflection API deprecation. Focused on reorganizing the reflection module and deprecating additional reflection functions to reduce reliance on outdated struct dependencies. Utilized C++ for code refactoring and library maintenance, applying targeted changes to suppress deprecation warnings and streamline the codebase. The work involved marking more reflection functions as deprecated, which reduced warning noise and minimized future risk exposure. By improving the maintainability of the reflection module, the changes contributed to a cleaner development environment and supported ongoing efforts to modernize the fbthrift codebase.
