Worked on the mathesar-foundation/mathesar repository to address a targeted UI bug affecting the import workflow. Focused on removing an incorrect 'JSON' import suggestion from the user interface, this change prevented users from attempting unsupported import actions and reduced the risk of data integrity issues. The solution involved frontend debugging and careful version control, ensuring the UI accurately reflected valid import options. Utilized JavaScript and React to modify the relevant components, aligning the interface with product goals of minimizing user errors and support requests. This work improved the overall import user experience and demonstrated disciplined, detail-oriented engineering within the project.
