Applied front end development and UI/UX design skills using JavaScript to clamp timer values and restrict the progress bar width, preventing overflow and visual glitches when students started assessments late. The solution required careful adjustment of calculation logic and thorough manual testing, with detailed verification steps documented for reviewers. This targeted bug fix enhanced the reliability of timed assessments, reduced student confusion, and ensured a backward-compatible change without requiring database migrations.
