During December 2025, Aktive8 delivered a focused branding and user interface enhancement for the HAKboard integration within the home-assistant/brands repository. The work centered on introducing new branding assets and refining the UI to align with Home Assistant’s design guidelines, improving both visual identity and user experience. Leveraging skills in UI design and branding, Aktive8 implemented these changes through a dedicated commit tied to design intents and tracked via issue management.
