In November 2024, Aku updated the reporting framework documentation in the SANDAG/ABM repository, focusing on clarifying the end-to-end data flow from ABM3 model outputs to Power BI. Using Markdown and leveraging strong documentation skills, Aku mapped how data is stored in the data lake, processed in Databricks, and ultimately visualized. This work improved data lineage visibility and onboarding for new team members, reducing ambiguity across teams. No code changes or bug fixes were introduced, as the emphasis was on knowledge transfer and governance. The documentation update was traceable to a specific commit, ensuring maintainability and transparency for future development.
