Addressed a critical JSON serialization edge case by ensuring empty tool properties are encoded as JSON objects, which resolved schema errors with the Anthropic API, specifically for Claude Sonnet 4.5 integration. The solution involved updating the encoding path to utilize vim.empty_dict() for empty properties, thereby preventing input_schema errors and improving stability for end users. No new features were introduced during this period, with efforts concentrated on bug fixing and expanding test coverage for API edge cases and serialization logic.
