During June 2025, Alberto Cruzado focused on improving the openrails/openrails project by delivering a targeted documentation fix for the ORTS_PLAYER_DIESEL_ENGINE_STATE API. He carefully aligned the documented engine states with the actual implementation, updating them to Stopped, Stopping, Starting, and Running, and revised the UI example to reference the correct MultiStateDisplay control. Working primarily with reStructuredText and leveraging his technical writing and documentation skills, Alberto’s changes enhanced the clarity and accuracy of the API documentation. This update reduced onboarding friction for new developers and minimized the risk of API misuse, ensuring the documentation now accurately reflects the codebase.
