During July 2025, Alcwyn enhanced the OrchardCMS/OrchardCore repository by developing a media thumbs multi-drag and reorder feature, focusing on improving the user experience for media management. He replaced the legacy draggable component with Sortable.js, enabling users to select and reorder multiple media items within the thumbs container, which streamlined content editing workflows. His approach involved modernizing the frontend using JavaScript, Vue.js, and SCSS, ensuring seamless integration with existing ASP.NET Core infrastructure. Alcwyn’s work demonstrated careful attention to code maintainability and clear commit practices, laying a solid foundation for future UI improvements and more efficient media handling in OrchardCore.
