Aldo Mateli integrated the Wireup Dependency Injection library into the aio-libs/aiohttp repository, establishing foundational support for DI containers throughout the codebase. By leveraging RST for documentation, Aldo updated both the changelog and third-party documentation to clearly communicate the new architecture. This work focused on improving maintainability and extensibility by enabling modular, testable components via dependency injection. Although the scope was limited to feature development and did not include bug fixes, the integration laid essential groundwork for future architectural improvements. The depth of the contribution was foundational, setting up the project for more robust and flexible development practices going forward.
