Worked on the Effect-TS/effect-smol repository, focusing on improving the reliability of HTTP request handling. Addressed a critical bug in the schemaBodyJson function by ensuring parseOptions were correctly forwarded, which enhanced the accuracy of JSON parsing in HTTP requests. This fix reduced runtime errors related to parsing and increased the overall stability of downstream systems. The work involved close collaboration, as reflected in co-authored commits and clear documentation of the issue and resolution process. Utilized TypeScript for full stack development and testing, demonstrating attention to code quality and a methodical approach to maintaining robust HTTP handling functionality.
