During June 2025, Aleatoric developed a robust data and state migration system for the OriginTrail/dkg-evm-module repository, focusing on seamless protocol upgrades. Leveraging Solidity and blockchain development expertise, Aleatoric designed and implemented a suite of migrator smart contracts that securely transfer stakes, operator fees, and delegator data between legacy and updated deployments. The migration scripts ensured data integrity and minimized operational disruption, providing a safe upgrade path for both users and operators. Although the work spanned a single feature, it demonstrated depth in smart contract architecture and upgradeability, addressing the critical need for consistent data preservation across evolving protocol versions.
