Worked on the sbt/sbt-git repository to enhance plugin configurability and streamline release automation. Developed a feature allowing the useConsoleForROGit setting to be controlled via environment variables, enabling flexible git interaction modes across both local and continuous integration environments. Leveraged Scala and YAML to implement these changes, focusing on improving usability and adaptability for diverse workflows. Additionally, introduced CI/CD workflows using sbt and Git to automate building, testing, and publishing the plugin. This approach increased deployment reliability and reduced manual intervention, supporting faster time-to-market and more robust development cycles. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
