Worked on enhancing plugin management within the JetBrains/intellij-community repository by developing features that streamline plugin discovery and improve load handling. Focused on building a mechanism to retrieve and list available plugins, which supports more efficient installation workflows. Employed Kotlin for both implementation and comprehensive testing, introducing new tests to validate the loading of ultimate plugins and to cover error scenarios. Integrated robust error handling into the plugin loading process, providing clearer feedback for misconfigured plugins and reducing user-facing failures. This work improved the reliability and user experience of plugin installation and management, laying groundwork for future ecosystem tooling enhancements.
