Worked on enhancing security compliance in the SonarSource/SonarJS repository by delivering a new feature focused on AWS TLS policies with Perfect Forward Secrecy support. Leveraged JavaScript and TypeScript to update existing rules, ensuring that stronger TLS configurations are enforced in line with modern security standards. The approach involved designing and integrating new policy definitions that align with AWS requirements, thereby improving the product’s overall security posture. Collaborated through a Git-based workflow to implement these changes, emphasizing security-focused engineering practices. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and policy enhancement for robust TLS compliance.
