Worked on the camunda/connectors repository to enhance SOAP-based integration reliability and maintainability over a two-month period. Focused on backend development using Java and SOAP, the developer introduced detailed logging traces to the SOAP Message Handler, improving traceability and debugging of header and body generation. Subsequent work expanded the SOAP Connector’s capabilities by implementing robust header and signature handling, encryption support, and comprehensive end-to-end testing. Security was strengthened through null validation and code hygiene improvements, while documentation was updated to reflect new features and usage guidance. The technical approach emphasized modular enhancements, maintainability, and increased test coverage without introducing regressions.
