Alex enhanced the SLOCTL BudgetAdjustments flow in the nobl9/sloctl repository by improving error handling and user experience for date parsing in CLI commands. Focusing on the events get command, Alex delivered clearer error messages for invalid date formats, providing concrete usage examples and guidance for the --from and --to flags. This work reduced ambiguity for end users and streamlined troubleshooting. The improvements were implemented using Bash and Go, with updated tests to ensure robust date-format validation and prevent regressions. Alex demonstrated skills in CLI development, error handling, and test-driven development, contributing depth and clarity to the project’s command-line interface.
