Alex Harden focused on improving installer reliability for the Azure Cosmos DB Emulator within the github-maccloud/runner-images repository. During May 2025, Alex identified and resolved a critical issue where mismatched SHA256 checksums in the PowerShell installation script caused CI deployment failures. By updating the checksum validation logic, Alex ensured that the script accurately reflected the downloaded MSI, preventing installation errors and reducing deployment flakiness. This work demonstrated strong DevOps and scripting skills, with careful attention to release hygiene and traceability. Although the period involved no new features, Alex’s targeted bug fix contributed to more stable and predictable CI environments.
