Alex Loubiere enhanced the azerothcore/azerothcore-wotlk repository by delivering a targeted bug fix and AI improvements for the Kurzen Medicine Man NPC. Focusing on database management and game development, Alex implemented health-aware smart scripts using SQL and SAI, enabling the NPC to cast Renew, Heal, and Inner Fire or retreat for assistance based on dynamic health conditions. This work improved encounter reliability and gameplay balance by aligning AI behavior with expected WotLK patterns. The integration of scalable NPC behavior tuning at the data layer demonstrated Alex’s depth in NPC scripting, AI heuristics, and maintainable game system design within a complex codebase.
