In February 2025, Alex Miao enhanced the gas management API within the alchemyplatform/docs-openapi-specs repository by introducing support for multiple policy IDs in API endpoints. Using YAML and OpenAPI, Alex redefined the API specification so endpoints now accept lists of UUIDs, rather than a single identifier, enabling batch configuration and more flexible policy management. This update addressed the need for scalable policy governance and reduced manual setup for developers integrating with the API. The work established a technical foundation for future features such as validation and cross-policy auditing, demonstrating depth in API design and forward-thinking specification development.
