
In April 2025, Alex Stengaard enhanced the tboulund-dls/HappyHeadlines repository by delivering comprehensive documentation and DSL updates for the Article and Newsletter services. Alex focused on clarifying SQL schema references, refining DSL diagrams, and explicitly mapping communication flows between services. Using SQL, Markdown, and a custom DSL, Alex updated the Newsletter service to reflect new interactions with subscriberService and mailpit, while also cleaning up placeholders to improve accuracy. This work streamlined developer onboarding and reduced integration ambiguity, demonstrating a methodical approach to documentation, system architecture, and database design, with careful attention to alignment between code and supporting materials.
