Worked on enhancing the CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam repository by addressing a vulnerability in the Amelia booking plugin’s bot detection workflow. Focused on antispam integration, the developer introduced an event_token to the Amelia integration’s request payload, enabling more robust validation against automated abuse. The technical approach involved updating the JavaScript bundle to ensure the client-side reflected these changes, thereby improving payload integrity and reducing fraudulent bookings. Collaborated with teammates through co-authored commits to maintain code quality and streamline reviews. The work primarily utilized JavaScript and WordPress, resulting in a targeted bug fix that strengthened the reliability of the booking flow.
