Worked on enhancing contributor metadata and display features across the pressbooks/pressbooks and pressbooks/pressbooks-book repositories. Focused on supporting editors, translators, and illustrators in both title-page exports and EPUB/XHTML formats, the developer refactored contributor handling logic in PHP and updated SCSS for improved UI presentation. These changes enabled accurate recognition of diverse contributor roles on book covers and within exported files, strengthening metadata fidelity for edited volumes. By extending export functionality and front-end display, the work improved collaboration visibility and data quality, supporting internationalization and more flexible publication models without introducing new bugs during the development period.
