In red-hat-data-services/kueue, addressed issues in workload patching by fixing SSA patch generation and status propagation, refactoring the patching logic to ensure accurate resource reservations and request propagation using Go and Kubernetes. Added integration tests to prevent regression and aligned downstream code with upstream changes through automated cherry-picking. In NVIDIA/TransformerEngine, improved the JAX backend by correcting narrowing conversions in shape calculations, explicitly casting types in C++ and JAX to prevent data loss and runtime errors during activation and normalization computations.
