Alexis Munsayac upgraded the styling workflow for the solidjs/solid-start repository by implementing an automatic style registry, streamlining the developer experience and reducing configuration overhead. Leveraging TypeScript and CSS-in-JS within a SolidJS and Vite environment, Alexis replaced deprecated dependencies and refined the example app setup to ensure consistent styling across new projects. The work included updating the solid-styled library and its associated unplugin, as well as removing obsolete plugins to simplify the stack. By addressing a compatibility issue during the upgrade, Alexis ensured a stable transition to the new styling approach, laying groundwork for faster and more maintainable UI development.
