Worked on the facebook/ocamlrep repository to enhance reliability and modernize dependencies within continuous integration workflows. Addressed a critical CI bootstrap issue by adding rustls-pki-types to the shim, resolving failures in GitHub Actions and improving the stability of buck2 bootstrapping. Upgraded the bytesize library from version 1.1.0 to 2.0, ensuring compatibility with the latest features and maintaining alignment with current stability expectations. Focused on dependency management and Rust, the work enabled faster pull request validation and reduced CI flakiness. The contributions demonstrated a targeted approach to maintaining robust library compatibility and streamlining automated testing processes.
