Worked on the continuedev/continue repository to enhance reliability and maintain API hygiene within the rules engine. Focused on TypeScript development, the primary contribution involved removing the unused alwaysApply parameter from the CreateRuleBlock API in createRuleBlock.ts. This targeted bug fix aligned the API with its actual properties, reducing the risk of misconfiguration and runtime errors when constructing rules. By simplifying the API surface, the work improved consistency and made the developer experience more intuitive. No new features were introduced during this period, as the emphasis remained on maintenance, correctness, and ensuring robust TypeScript code for ongoing project stability.
