Worked on the 2gis/on-premise-helm-charts repository to deliver a Redis Integration Feature Flag, enabling teams to toggle Redis integration for keys in on-premise deployments. The implementation involved updating Helm chart templates and YAML configuration files to introduce the optional feature flag while ensuring backward compatibility with existing setups. Comprehensive documentation was added to guide users through feature flag usage, configuration changes, and rollout strategies, supporting safer staged deployments and reducing risk for Redis-enabled environments. The work demonstrated practical application of DevOps principles, leveraging Kubernetes and Helm to improve configurability and deployment flexibility without introducing breaking changes or regressions.
